Norwich Market
Unbelievably pleased how this one turned out, what a absolutely beautiful image.
As a quick reminder, this is a super low-resolution version, the t-internet is full of tea leaves and scoundrels, you can’t trust it with anything. So you’ll have to contact me to buy the full version. It’s a whopping 37.2MB file measuring 9996 x 14248. HUGE. It can be licensed via me or purchased as a wall art print or canvas in the store. Here’s a huge cropped-in shot to show you the quality in the centre of the frame….
It’s difficult capturing drone shots like this. I’d like to think my decade of experience in 35 countries helps, but I still find it tough. Immediately after firing up the drone, I was greeted by a passing taxi driver of all people, to tell me I shouldn’t do it because it was a “No-fly zone’, it wasn’t.
I then took off anyway, after double-checking the regulations, of course, and hovered up into position to muck around with the framing. It took far too long to capture the series of images I needed, as Kamakazee seagulls dive-bombed from all directions. WTF is wrong with them?
Anyway, 15 minutes later I had a few images that I could work with and quickly landed before the drunken crowd of teenagers got any more interested in what I was doing. Why is it people always think you’re filming THEM?
I think this image shows the Norwich market well, not too abstract, but not too obvious either. It’ll certainly go well on the wall. I’m going to make myself one.
Cheers all, get in touch with any questions.

Late on a July evening in 2023, after an unusually wet few weeks, the rain clouds parted as it neared sunset to reveal the top of Norwich Market with a complete lack of people. Perfect. A few moments earlier a taxi driver had stopped to tell me "You can't fly a drone here, it's a no-fly zone". He meant well, but it wasn't a no-fly zone, and I was able to capture an absolutely spectacular series of high-resolution shots, that I've have compiled into this. A stunningly colourful high resoluition aerial shot that I'm pleased to offer in both wall art print and canvas.
