The first stop was, of course, Warwick Castle, to capture shots of this majestic old building that dates back 1000 years.
This shot of Warwick Castle on the bend of the River Avon is fantastic, you can click on the images to go to their video clips and see a full preview. This one would make for a great establishing shot. The Warwick collection then holds a wide and varied selection of castle shots, with high wides showing it set in the wider town landscape, and intricate reveals from flags and quaint old townhouses.
1000 years in the making, Warwick Castle was never going to be a quick place to shoot. It’s one of those locations that drag you in and soak up your time, energy, and battery power faster than you realise. Wonderful, but it was time to move on, and the rest of my few sunny days in Warwick led me to film Warwick Racecourse, the Lord Leycester hospital area, St Paul’s Chruch, the Warwickshire Yeomanry Museum, plenty of old Tudor buildings, I made a few trips to Costa Coffee and captured a whole load of cool town center street scenes.
The Warwick Stock Footage Collection is filled with stuff like this. Abstract, different, unique, exclusive. You won’t find this anywhere else. By the way, by using my links, new customers will qualify for a 20% discount on their first order.
